    Are they all the same?
I have peco turnouts and various kinds of flex - I think it's all the same code of rail but it's been packed away for years.
I know I need railjoiners and expect to find the bubble packs of Atlas ones at the hobby shop tomorrow, but I'm just wondering if that's the best choice?

The Atlas joiners do not work well with Peco turnouts. While they look the same, the Peco joiners are MUCH easier to install on Peco turnouts. If you can pick up enough packages of peco joiners for your turnouts you will be happier.

Keep in mind that Peco insulated joiners are also necessary in some places, depending on where these go on your layout and several other layout dependent factors. In general, I put insulating joiners on all four rails coming out of the diverging end of the turnout, but this is not always necessary.

now that you mention it, I do recall having a hell of a time putting the atlas joiners on the peco turnouts!
I may have forgotten more then I'll ever know again.

After shoving on an Atlas joiner pretty hard and then having my finger slip and the Atlas joiner under my thumbnail slightly I decided to go the LHS and get Peco joiners.
