Have noticed over the last couple of days, a small problem with my Rail Images account. I can accesss my albums with no problem. Now, when I try to access My Photos, it brings me to my photos, but only the albums. The Gallery link is also highlighted. All of the individual photos I have uploaded, I currently have no access, as I can't find them! The only think I can currently access, are My Albums. Up until 2-3 days ago, I had no problems accessing. Using a Toshiba Thrive tablet, with up to date Android O/S. For me, the Tapatalk mentioned is NOT installed. Anyway, any possible help and/or information appreciated. Thanks.
Hi Keith, We recently applied a separate update to RailImages in addition to the Tapatalk update. We'll be exploring the new RI over the next few days and advise on any changes that may affect navigation. In the mean time, please keep us posted on any unusual things you may find.
Don't have any other issues, other than what I've noticed with RI. I click the RI link, and it brings up my photo albums, but the individual photos are shown in gallery format, and not as they used to be. I'll have to see what happens on a different computer now. Thanks again.
Keith, I'm trying to grasp what exactly it is that has changed for you. When you go to your albums, if you click on one, do you not see your images? We will try to work through the problem, I just need to understand exactly what it is that is happening. Charlie
Charlie, When I click on the link at top of page, for Rail Images, that link, plus the Gallery link are both highlighted. Then, when I click on the link to My Photos, it takes me to my photos. As before, it has my photo albums at the top of the page. But now, all other uploaded photos are shown in Gallery format. In what seems to be no specific order. Before, the last photo(s) uploaded would show directly below My Albums. Best description I can get right now. But, only happening on the Toshiba tab, with Android O/S. Still need to try my laptop and see what the situation is. Appreciate the help.
Keith, The only way I could see for sure is to log in as you. Of you want to PM me your password I will look. I tried to check using my own stuff but it isn't going to show me the same thing you see. Charlie
Keith, I think I can help you now. Forget about Gallery and RailImages both being highlighted at the top. That is nothing for this purpose. When you click on "My Photos" you are going to see your albums at the top. That's all good. Scroll down to where you see individual pictures. Scroll way down to the menu bar at the bottom. If you want to see pictures in the order you uploaded then, select; Sort by: "Posted Date", Order: "Descending." Or, you can set that any way you want. Does that clear it up? Charlie
Charlie, I've tried that several times. Seems like when I make changes, my photos vanish. Just tried, and when I clicked sort now, photos vanished. Albums still there though. Wondering if it could be the tablet causing the problem? Will check laptop later todat sometime and see. Or at least in the next day or so.
Charlie, Tried the tablet again. Made a few changes, as you suggested. Had to make one at a time, sorting after each change. Does bring photos back to how they were uploaded. Only gripe now, is it does not stay as reset. Can't save changes made. It changes back to current photo configuration. Oh well. Again, help has been much appreciated. Thanks.
Your tablet may not hold the cookie (that would tell it how you want it). I'm afraid I can't offer much in the way of tablet support (yet).
Your problem is that you sort the photos and they don't remain sorted as such when you return to the page?
Well, this works for me. Can we get some other users to let us know whether or not they are having the same problem? Charlie
