    Hi all,
In June, we will be driving from HorseShoe Curve down to Fredericksburg, VA. We have about half a day free time during the drive. We are looking for a few good locations to railfan along the way. Any suggestions. Thanx

Sorry, I have nothing to add with Railfanning locations, but I hope you enjoy Horseshoe Curve & area, I certainly did! [IMG] [IMG]

I haven't been back that way for years, but remember Harper's Ferry, WVa, was a very scenic spot with tunnel, bridges, etc. plus a lot of local history to check out while waiting for the trains. :D

East Broad Top's narrow gauge is between those nodes, and they can be found on WWW.

From Horeshoe Curve you are only about an hour or two north of Sandpatch. Look up Meyersdale, PA and that will get you pretty close to Sandpatch. You could see lots of action there too.
