Another eclectic group, and they are all good, guys. Thanks Will. Hardcoaler, where did you take that shot from? Badlandnp, that engine is so hard to photograph since that "shelter" was built. That's one of the best I have seen. co_riff, I love coal loaders.
It was taken last Saturday in Canton, NC from a local highway bridge. It's a former SOU branch that was sold to Watco's Blue Ridge Southern.
Hardcoaler- It appears that brick building is probably a railroad used structure. Was that actually a depot/train order office, at some past time? Or does it post-date that era?
