Wondering what is the history behind that elevator SW switcher? Paint scheme vaguely hints at CB&Q.

I don't know my switchers, so if we knew what model it is, we should be able to trace its lineage.

    I didn't know any TR-2s still existed!

Here's its stablemate in Berthold, a former SP SD45T-2. I didn't know any Tunnel Motors were in North Dakota until this weekend!

What model? (BRC roster posted somewhere?) This sure matches very well, the picture Hemi uploaded. SW600/9/900/1200???? Or?

UGH. Looks just like what I have seen from a couple of multi-spin off/short line operators. I understand why/how, but it still looks tacky, prideless.

I think they did a pretty good job. I can't even tell it used to be a U.P. loco.

Ha, I like that idea. Remember the Peter Seller's movie, "The Mouse That Roared", where this tiny principality caught the USA with their pants down? Hey, Uncle Pete, watch out out for them tiny Creepy-Crawlys.

Yes. That movie was and is vastly under-rated. A must watch for everyone! (y)
