Dave N starts us off with a BNSF double-stack train Switchman found a 0-6-0 side-tanker switcher in Hong Kong... JKD caught this late evening mixed freight UP... and Caldog snapped a photo of this California Northern Geep...
Oh uh Steam and BNSF in the same posting Nice photos every one and good selection SteamDonkey thanks:thumbs_up:
I like that high-drivered side tank switcher. Looks like someone wearing shoes that are too big! Matt
Sweet shot from Mikado; longhood forward Geep. BTW, was that taken in Louisville??? Around LS Junction???
Adam, great choices. I LOVE Wheeler's shot. He says it's B&O but that profile sure looks like a New York Central engine.........:tb-biggrin:
Actually, thats a SD-35 leading the train. Southern ran about everything long-hood forward back then. The photo is in New Albany, In. That's VI Tower to the left.
When was that shot of XK28 taken? That class was retired many years ago. Wait - haven't I seen that exact picture before?
