I am going to RailCamp 2006 at the Nevada Northern Railway Museum in Ely, Nevada (i.e. middle of nowhere). The other location is at the Steamtown National Historic Site (Strasburg) in Scranton, Pennsylvania, which is full. Going here cancels the trip my family had for Maine, however. The camp is for high-schoolers, who will be Freshman-Senior during next school year. Congratulations. They anounced at our NRHS Gulf Coast chapter meeting last night that we were sending someone from the Houston area to the camp in Nevada also.
I don't believe the Museum and ride in Strasburg is associated with Steamtown, and they aren't near each other either. Thanks for the info, though. It is good to know these kinds of things are taking place.
