Does anyone have any suggestions (i.e., "tricks") for assembling metal rail joiners to the rails? I am getting them on & making fairly good solder joints. But they all seem to be fairly tightly formed and, for me, awkwardly using a small flat-nosed plier to try to get them started is the only way I can force-fit them. (I'm using Atlas Flextrack Code 80.)

File a tiny bevel on the ends of the rail bottoms, both thickness and width.

The way I get tight fitting rail joiners on the rail is to use a small block of wood to push them on. It saves your fingers from getting punctured and the wood is soft enough it won't bend the rail joiner.
