Here is the inaugural post for this topic. Those who have volunteered to search railimages and post a picture each can you please do so. Lets hope this becomes a successful addition to Trainboard. Here is a photograph from Sam Botts album [ 29. June 2003, 08:34: Message edited by: Colonel ]
Interesting mix of chosen photographs. This is an excellent idea, as it gives exposure to photographs from the albums. I am sure there are several of us who do not have the time to peruse the albums, but this topic may prompt us to go and have a look
Well guys thanks for posting the pics, not as many posts as I would have liked but it is only early days yet.
Colonel, am I reading this wrong, or did you not select some members to look through the Railimages Albums and nominate a "Photo of the Week" from the albums?? The entries are supposed to be submitted from those who are doing the searching, not individuals submitting their own pix? Are 12 inch to the foot scale model photos included? You know that's what I put on here.
Of course you are correct fitz so here are the pics to vote on for this week Are 12 inch to the foot scale model photos included? Of course they are Fitz Ok guys place your vote here as soon as the vote is completed, hmm lets say buy Monday evening, then i will open a new topic
Oh how I wish the lighting/filtering response with my camera was better! I will say there is something pretty interesting happening right above the roof though...becaue I did not put that there, and I did not touch the photo either...I TOLD you I need a Ghost Busting Unit!!!! I like those steam engines...I guese you could say I am just not too fond of orange on a diesel...but now if that orange was Hot Pink, the diesels would get my vote. I am saddened to report that the snowplow is sleeping for a spell right now...in the box. Not space, best keep it there out of dust and damaging forces.
OK well it looks as though the BNSF picture wins this round I will post a new topic for the next pictures
Hey I won!!! I never win anything! Seriously, all the photos were great and I look forward to the next round. Thanks Paul, et al.
