Ok can someone please tell me what theymean by the radius numbers 11”, 9” etc… … my little Bachmann set came with a circle of track that is about 24” thebox does not tell me what these radius pieces are and someone suggested theyare 11.25” and that makes no sense to me. So just what are these numbers supposedto mean?

The radius is the distance from the center of a circle to the edge of a circle. For a track radius it is from the center of the circle to the middle of the track in between the rails.

If your track is 11.25" radius, multiple that by 2 to get the diameter of the circle: that's 23.5". Add a little bit to get to the outside of the track, and the outside is probably just about 24" like you say.

Isn’t 11.25” x 2 = 22.5” not 23.5…. if it measures from the center of the track then it would make sense… Ijust put a tape on it and it’s is well under 24” (the back of the box calls it24”)
So 22.5” + one track width makes sensethanks a lot. I wouldn’t have thought to measure it from the center but itmakes sense when thinking of turns that are not 180 degrees.
