Does anyone know how exactly the train radios sound on a scanner, in other words what does it sound like when they communicate? Does anyone know of any samples to can type up?
Not sure if I understand the question, but I have heard recordings of specific events on the internet. I don't know if you can put those communications on the internet live, but some others here know, I am sure. We have several real rr employees here. So next, should this post be in another forum?
Fash- This topic might draw a few more responses in the Railfan category. Nathan- There are some live audio streaming sites on the web. I can't find the link right now. But try a Google search. There's a fellow in Bozeman, Montana who streams Montana Rail link in his area. I know there are others. Listening to these would tell you what you need to know. Boxcab E50
