I have a NCE Powerhouse and the question I have is : Where can I get a longer cable from the Powerhouse to the cab? I would love to have a 12-15 foot cable. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Jeff
Looking at mine, it looks just like a "standard" phone jack, but with four wires - Google calls this "RJ14". (6 pins, 4 wires) The only risk trying to find a replacement cable is that real phone cables often </font> don't provide all four wires (call these RJ11/RJ12)</font> cross wires over (black-red-green-yellow one end, yellow-red-green-black the other)</font> You could try shopping around electronics stores (Radio Shack?, Circuit City?) and pay close attention to the order of the coloured wires. If the worst comes to the worst, you can make your own cables, buying plugs and cable and a crimp tool (yes, you can crimp those plugs with pliers, but it takes so long it's an exersize in frustration. Crimp tool = bang, done). Sorry I can't be more helpful - I've got the NCE box and the crimp tools; but I'm not in the US.
