This is a weathered car painted for the AGR. I saw it on eBay and I believe it was the first time I'd seen this car. Since I live near the AGR I went ahead and bid and won the car. I looked on the Micro-Trains website data base and couldn't find this car listed. Does anyone know when it was released? Or, if there's a more comprehensive listing of the weathered cars than the MTL website? Had I seen this car in the regular monthly (mid month for weathered cars) listings I would have bought it then. Maybe it was one of the grab-bag cars(?).

    Thanks,

That car was sold as part of a set of four weathered boxcars and a loco - MTL 993 01 370.
The set was announced in September 2015, pre-orders were taken and it was released in February 2016.
Someone must have broken up a set.

We could use one of these in Z-scale, just without the weathering!:D

    Hint, hint......;)

Micro-Trains splits up their listings of released cars. Weathered releases are in their own workbook, one worksheet (tab) per scale (see link below for Excel version). The sets tend to be listed there as a single release. There are some but not all Weathered Cars in the main listing.
