According to information in "Waycars of the Chicago, Burlington & Quincy RR" by Holbrook & Lorenz, the first Q wide vision waycar (as the Q called their cabooses) was Class NE 13 number 13570 built 10/60.
Waycars on the CB&Q About 1960 or so as C_A_Q Fan said. There was alco some "Waycars" like the Bachmann model. The Waycars survived the BN Merger and most were painted BN Green with Yellow ends and ladders. Got the photos off the net.
