One time I received a copy if NSM soaking wet inside the plastic, the outside plastic was dry. I contacted NSM and they sent a replacement copy asap. They were also glad to hear about the problem and said by being informed about it they were able to resolve the problem. (It never happened again.) The folks at both NSR and NSM are great to deal with and really want to know about problems like this. They want to know if it is a problem with their printer, USPS, etc. so they can get it taken care of.
So far, I have had no reply from NSR, I hope they reply, if not, I'll have to keep pushing for an answer. fatalxsunrider43
I know. Some of them are from up here, and used to even include my father-in-law. OTOH, we also get people from your area coming up here to spend their winter enjoying the snow sports. Boxcab E50

I don't subscribe to N Scale or N Scale Railroading... gives me an excuse to go to the LHS. I do have a subsciption to Model Railroader and they sometimes send it in a plastic bag... but lately they have not been sent 'protected'. I prefer that they are sent in a plastic bag... but... with all the 'going green' movement... plastic bags are apparently being phased-out. I guess unless there are other items being sent togther with the magazine, we're going to have to get used to them being set unprotected.
All of my railroad magazines (6 total) and important mail comes to my P.0.Box..I am yet to get a wet magazine.
It has been raining here in So Cal since Thursday nite looks like it is going to continue until tomorrow, let up a bit, and then more on Tues. & Wed. Keep your magazines and powder dry fellers. LOL ! fatalxsunrider43
