I have an older DCC system (Lenz Set 100 / LZV100 purchased in 2006) and am having difficulty programming modern Soundtraxx decoders (such as the one used in the just-released N scale Bachmann 2-8-4). Using the LH100 handheld, I can read and program the common CV's (CV 1, 2, 3, etc). But when it comes to some of the more esoteric settings (BEMF CV's 209, 210, 213, 214) I get "ERR 02" responses from the LH when trying to change them (although I am able to successfully read said CV values). I've also tried using the LI-USB CV editor, but these high-end CV's are not even listed as being an option. Any suggestions? Thanks, -Mark
Mark, Use the JMRI DecoderPro3 that you just downloaded. The JMRI website has lots of information about HW/SW capabilities.
