5493, or then unit in the lowest picture is one of 10 (?) former SD45s that are noe SD40-2+ models. they were rebuilt with the SD40-2 motor, but had some upgrades on the SD40-2 designation. They are clasified in the Trackside Guide as SD40-2M units, and I hope to see one before they are all gone! Recently several have been stored, or declared as suplus. Happy Railroading! Dane
