Hello all, it has been awhile.
I have a question and need some advice.
    I was planning on buying 2 MRC TECH 4 350s w/walkaround controls.
    I know the walkaround is separate. Or 2 Tech 4 250s w/walkaround.
However I searched the internet & found no one has these items.
They might be listed on the site, but when I called to confirm, they did not have the items. It has been confirmed however that these are discontinued.
Which leads me up to my question.
I will most likely buy 2 MRC TECH 260s to run the ATLAS Great Eastern Trunk layout, 1 for inner lap, 1 for outer lap and a smaller transformer for the yards.
Is there a way to wire in a walkaround control somewhere w/these 2 packs?
Anyone know where I can get walkaround throttles that are NOT DCC.
I know some may say I should go the DCC route, but it is not feasible at this time as most of my stuff does not have decoders or it is too old to be set up for DCC.
Thank you for your advice & help in advance.

If you are looking for a walk around throttle for your dc power pack I use a radio throttle from RCS

These are excellent throttles, easy to install and easy to operate.

Here is a pic of the throttle from the site.

I recently searched for these but was unable to find one. Who carries them. I saw one at the Hobby Show in Chicago last fall and was really impressed.
I currently use two MRC Controlmaster 20 with their walkarounds. The power supply is mainly for large scale but has a slide switch for HO. The power it puts out is great. It also has memory throttles. As I still run older Athearn locos in multiple I sometimes boost the power to large scale to help get the trains over the grades

I checked on the MRC CM20s and realize that is what i might have to use.
Since it is cab control I will need two.
Is this too much power for cab control.
    Will it burn out anything?

When I am operating older Athearns in multiple I dont worry too much about harming the motors. I avoid prolonged operation in large scale mode, however. With Genesis, Kato, Atlas, and some P2k I can run two or three locos in multiple using just the HO/N settings and still have a good speed range to work with. I recently had a problem with an Atlas RS-3 (newer version) when running it with three genesis powered units. The Atlas suddenly began crawling along and humming very loudly. I may have damaged the circuit board but as yet I have not taken it in to my local shop for a second opinion. I am very satisfied with the CM20's I have and will likely get one more. My fourth cab may become a DCC option some day. In the mean time I would like to try Caboose Ind's radio cab mentioned above.
