OK, I see by the message that came up when I posted some links to images on my Photobucket albums (and some PDF links) that I had exceeded the allowed 4 images and to correct it before attempting to post again.

This puzzles me somewhat because it is my understanding that the main reason to use off forum hosting is to save forum server bandwidth. I also noticed that even though the links were shown when typing up the posting (advanced mode) when I tried to return to the posting field to delete some of them, the pics were there and the text links had gone, making it impossible to delete them (well as far as I knew how anyway).

I use this method on other v bulletin forums when I need to edit after previewing the post (before finally posting to the thread).

So, how do I delete pic links, and why, when I am in fact only posting the links back to the images stored at Photobucket, or elsewhere, and not the actual photo files, is the number being restricted?

I have read the Sticky on image posting and it only seems to refer to image files actually stored on the forum. :eek:hboy:

We don't encourage you to store pictures off forum. You can upload here if you like.

If you need to post more pictures. just hit "reply" and keep going with more.

The editor is WYSIWYG. If you want to see the actual code, use the "A/A" button in the uper left hand corner.
