I would like to thank all of the vendors and manufacturers that was at Trainfest this weekend. Most of all I would like to thank all of the clubs that was present with its members that was part of the operations for kids and education. My grandson hit every place possible on Saturday. At 4 years old he was taught operations and what signals and bells and whistles meant. Several layouts he had to build his train before he could run it around the layout. Then he had to operate his train just lke the real railroad would including sound the horn and bell when appropriate. Norfolk Southern was at Scale Trains booth.....prior to their time slot the staff was very friendly to the children and to the model rr community answering all of our questions. Oh and from scale trains in January we will be excited about what they have planned for n scale. I did see Atlas and Kato along with others but this was 'Poppa and Buddy Day' and as usual we had a great time. I have viewed the YouTube overview of the 2015 November Trainfest and enjoyed what I saw. I was disappointed the video did not show much n-scale even when manufacturers who sell n-scale were visited. I have never attended in person, but would like to do so.
