    You have to get the overhead wires, but I think the GG1 is one of the most impressive US units you can put at the head of a passenger train, just do not use the AMTRAK livery.

    For me on the east side of the Atlantic, I take this Italian oldtimer, class 428, which by the way does not look very different from the GG1, especially on the lower side (wheel arrangement).
