In deciding some things about how the site will look, we would like to know your screen resolution width.

If you don't know (Windows users), follow these steps:
    1. Go to your desktop and in an area where there are no icons, right click.
    2. Select "Properties."
    3. The "Display Properties" dialogue will pop up. Select the "Settings" tab.
    4. You'll see "Screen Resolution"
We are asking about the larger number. In other words, if it says "800 X 600" we are asking about the 800.

As with Curto but only 24" LCD. I imagine the same on the missus' 27" Apple screen.

My MAC has 1680 wide. I usually don't use all of it for my browser and shrink its window down to about 1200.

    17" Standard (4:3) monitor running 1024x768.

Those running the newer Flatscreen / LCD monitors likely are more Wide Screen (16:9) and would not see the issue of concern

I opted for the 1280 width, but I rarely run my browser window full-screen. As a consequence, I experience the menu bar wrap problem - but only on TrainBoard.

I clicked 1280, but then I double checked and realized my 19" 4:3 is actually at 1600x1200 I tend to run full screen to help the eyes.

Precisely. I have a large screen, but I tend to run it like this:
    screen.jpg
Thus, a monitor 18" or 40, it doesn't matter if I have the screens stacked. And that's just my right monitor. Trainboard is on the left screen.

I clicked the incorrect pole choice.

I clicked "1680 (or more)" and I should have clicked "1024 (closest number)"

    My monitor is a 23" 16:9 1029x1080 widescreen LCD

How do I change my pole selection?

    See ya

My old 19" 4:3 LCD monitor has max resolution of 1280x1024, which is what I run at. Current settings for TB are perfect for me.

I have 1440x900 on one of my computers which is mainly doing email and back up work for my site. My other computer is 1600x900 and it is the one which I do my digital work for my site. I use the 2 computers which allows me to have 2 views when I compare info for my site.
Last year I had a double cataract job. I told the doctor that he was fantastic on how he had fixed my computer. After he did the operation, my monitors are doing some wonderful colors and clearness.

OUCH! I assume you are not only missing the RAILSEEK Button (Button #10) but you are still seeing the Button wrap around issue also... :( :( :( :(

I use 1920, 1280, and an IPhone. Netbooks are pretty popular and many of them have 1024 screens. Also many of the older guys at my work run their 1280 screens at 1024 so that things look bigger for their older eyes. The IPhone has some scaling issues. Perhaps you could include the viewport meta tag at the top of the page so that mobile browsers know what the proper display size is for the page.

    <meta name="viewport" content="width=1280">

The phone should then scale the page properly to its tiny 320x480 screen. This should work with most smartphone browsers including IOS, Android, and Blackberry
