I finally purchased the "Slim Gauge Cars" from Carstens Publications. What a neat book for for the scratch builder. Since I plan on a more freelance type narrow gauge railroad it has a lot of info that will be helpful. I can mix and match cars to my preference and not worry about it. Has anyone else taken the time to look through it? Greg
Hey Greg, How would you like to trade your new copy for my ragged one . Its one of those books that you learn something new every time you open it up. ------------------ Jim Harrawood #85 Utah Rails Wyoming Rails D&RGW---Main Line Thru The Rockies
I have never heard of that publication .. but you have raised my interest to a peak! Sounds like it's well worth the time and cost to get one. Thanks for the information ------------------ Bill (#16) "Get Goosed on the Yreka Western"
I bought my copy at the hobby store. RMC did have it advertised in the magazine, but since I don't need it I don't know if they still offer it. Now if we could get one on ng steam engines. Greg
Thanks Greg Hey! I hear rumors that the Virginia City & Truckee might have a connection with the Nevada State RR Museum in Carson City. Any truth to that? ------------------ Bill (#16) "Get Goosed on the Yreka Western"
