I have also ordered from 4Nscale (former Rio Grande Hobbies) and have never had a problem. The products have arrived within a week considering they travel half way around the world I feel thats good service.

I have had good dealings w/ Brooklyn Loco Works . Pete hooked me up nicely with a good deal on a set of BNSF Intermountain BLW-custom hoppers. Very nice stuff. I'm so glad that my local hobby shop is a good one. And it's only 15 min away! [IMG]

I deal through Train World, and World Of Trains in New York and Long Island, and also Caboose Hobbies from Colorado.

Locally, BBR Hobby Corner in downtown Cumberland MD, and Plaza Hobby in Cumberland's "Country Club Mall" and also Bucks Hobby Supply, in Johnstown, PA....

And once many moons ago, Little Town Toys & Trains, that was in my home town Meyersdale, PA :D :D

I had to edit this post. I forgot a hobby shop.... Adam & Eves Hobby, Latrobe, PA :D

Most will likely be surprised by this little tidbit of information, but Walthers doesn't stock everything that they lead us all to believe they do, in fact, and I got this from several manufacturers that I know personally, Walthers will wait until they get an order on a lot of products and then order it, and then they order in small quantities, the manufacturers that I know no longer deal with Walthers....

I never had a problem with Standard Hobby Supply............. :D

I have to agree about The Little Choo Choo Shop. For those of you that do not know where Spencer, N.C. is, it is midway between Washington D.C. and Atlanta, GA ! It is home of the famous Southern Railroad Spencer Shops, now home of the North Carolina Transportation Museum..... and it is across the street from the Little Choo Choo Shop!

Back to the store... it is a very nice store, with a large selection across many scales. I model in N scale, and they carry a large selection, including Micro-Trains, Kato, and Atlas (both current and discontinued). They also have a host of other products, including detail parts and decals. They have a very large selection of magazines and books too!

    Two thumbs up!
