Well, It's time. For the annual winter open house of the Pikemasters Model Railroad Club in Colorado Springs! We've been gearing up for this show pretty heavily, many changes have occurred to the layout since our last open house and we're ready to show it all off. This Thursday, December 4th, we'll be opening our doors for the Sack Lunch Serenade that will be occurring upstairs in the City Auditorium. The admission to this show is entirely 100% FREE! We'll be running trains from about noon to 2 as scheduled, however as we have a business meeting at 7pm, more than likely we'll start running trains at noon and go until about 9pm. Come by and see us on a quiet day and listen to the music performed upstairs by the giant organ in the auditorium. On Saturday, we have a much larger show planned to coincide with the Festival of Lights in Colorado Springs. We'll be open from Noon until 9pm and expect to have a VERY large turnout for this show. The show on Saturday is entirely FREE as well, and this time we'll have Hot Chocolate and Sweets available for a donation. We'll be running trains until we run out of guests around 9, which means we might even be there later! The auditorium also has a craft show scheduled to occur upstairs as well if you have spouses who aren't necessarily interested in the trains!
