Yeah, someone had to point me to the "Media" button for my photos.

I found the "Media" page, but how do I get to my own picture gallery? When I click "Albums" it says I haven't created any.

Try clicking on "Your Media" under Media Navigation.

Under Albums - second option is "Your Albums"

Under Media Navigation I don't see "Your Media."

When I click "Your Albums" it tells me "You have not created any albums."

I sure hope they get the photos back, they're the only copies I have since the computer crashed

Everything I have is triple backed up, off computer. If something with the computer goes bad, the most I might lose is a recent bookmark.

In the past, all of one's own uploaded pictures appeared in one place automatically in railimages. Now it appears that only works for "albums"? But if one hasn't used albums previously, there doesn't seem to be a way to quickly get to one's own uploaded images -- but I may be missing it. Not ideal.

That string brings up a dead page for me. I can search by user name, but it results in several pages in reverse date order. Very tedious looking for one image if one is not sure of the date.

I will miss the nice graphical view we once had of all our images, which could be sorted by many different parameters in ascending or descending order (date posted, name, etc.) and viewed up to 60 (I think) thumbnails per page. Much handier than what is there now.

There are still a lot of things to get worked out. Hang in there and be patient.

It used to be so easy to add images to posts. Now it seems they have to be hosted elsewhere?

Use the "Upload a File" button at the lower right next to "Post Reply" and upload an image there.
Or you can upload first to an album. When you get to this screen just click on "Add Media" and you can upload anything from your computer.

I am not sure if it was there on the old forum version, but I do like the random thumbnail to represent the album. Good idea.
