I am trying to take a picture out of my railimages to post in the "P" thread in the railfan photos and I have it displayed in the post and hit preview post and then it brings up just a link to the picture and not the pic itself on the post. I need help.
MRL, when you are viewing your photos on RI, click on the one you want to display. I am assuming (never assume) that you wanted the last one you added to contribute to the "P" thread. I clicked on it which enlarged it, then scrolled down into "Photo Details" to "BB Code" and copied the BB code. I will now paste it into this message and let's see what happens
Well it works now I right clicked on the big picture not the thumbnail and hit properties, then highlited the URL and copied it then pasted it into the post using the icon that has the mountains on it.
Interesting that there are several ways to do this. I, too, right click on the large image in RI. But, instead of "Properties," I select "Copy Image Location." Then I go to the "Reply to Thread" template and use the mountain picture icon and paste the "Copy Image Location" into the icon location. That gives me an immediate picture in the "Reply to Thread" template. I will also try just using the BB code.
