UP'S SD40-2 #3593 was painted in Desert Storm camouflage for a short while in 1991. Would anyone have photos?
Some additional information about the two signboards along the handrails for anyone interested...the one closest to the cab reads "Union Pacific salutes its employee reservists on duty for Desert Storm"(in case you can't read it on the photo). The second sign board includes the names of all of those UP reservist employees on duty. To this day, I still find that to be a first class patriotic salute by the Union Pacific.

The yellow ribbons on the handrails made a nice touch! My sister-in-law's foster son just got called up. His unit has been activated. Give 'em hell, Brian. Be safe. god Bless!
