Man, I sure hope MT or IM does those in NP Frieght. With detail changes you could use those all the way up till 4 months after BN was created, cause NP still had one AB set running.

    Kevin,
Who all of the BN predecessor rr's had FT's? Also, how many did BN get in the merger? When were the last FT's retired?

    Hemi,
I know that NP and GN had FT's for sure, i don't know if CB&Q did and im pretty sure SP&S did not. By the time the merger occured in May 1970 only NP still had any and that was one AB set. BN assinged a number for them but they did not last long enough for them to get it. I think they only lasted 3 or 4 months into BN making BN the last class 1 RR in the US to run FT's in regular service. After BN dumped them I think they went to Mexico were they have been retored and oporated seince then.

The CB&Q received 16 ABBA sets of FT's in 1943-44. After the war, five of these sets were split and combined with F2A's to create 10 ABA sets. All were disposed of in the early '60's.

Last week I sent Intermountain and Micro-Trains an e-mail asking if I should wait for an NP paint scheme or take what I could get and repaint them myself...

I never received any reply from Intermountain though.
