I am looking for the phone number for BLW.

Without starting another bashing session, let me tell you why. About 5 weeks ago, I placed an order online for items that were listed as being instock either at BLW or Walthers.

I received an email confirmation of my order. Last week, I emailed regarding the status of my order.

I have heard nothing from them. I checked their web page and there is no contact information besides email.

I have been VERY satisfied with their service in the past, just wondering what's going on.

Am I being impatient, or is 5 weeks long enough to wait for items that were shown as in stock at the time of the order?

I spoke to Pete last week and he stated that since December BLW has been SWAMPED and he has had to cut back on answering phone calls and email in order to attempt to catch up with orders. A member of my NTRAK club had a screwed up order which Pete fixed to more than his satisfaction, so I wouldn't worry too much, as frustrating as it is not to have your toys!!

I've called BLW before, Pete did me very right.
    More than once.

They are a little slow sometimes and backorders on "in stock items" can hold up a shipment. (though 5 weeks is a little long)

All in all I would give em a little slack and realize they are swamped. (good for them, maybe they should hire some help.)

I never expect them to be fast.
    Cheers

Yes. It is plenty long. Considering that BLW ships USPS Priority, so that should be a minimal delay in itself.

I would contact them. E-mail, phone or letter. Whatever works best. Give them a nudge...

Keep in mind that BLW may be THE largest, most popular N scale mail order supplier in the world. And as stated in other replies, they do literally get swamped.

I've done a fair amount of business with them over the years, and when there has been a bump in the road, Pete has apologized, and given me compensation for my inconvenience.

Thanks to all who have responded so far. I guess I am just being impatient.

I do plan to try and call them this afternoon.

My error, thanks for pointing out the contact info. Guess I didn't look closely enough.
