PECO has just released some good looking catenary components in OO (HO) Scale. Maybe with a little pressure PECO could be persuaded to develop catenary for N-Scale. That might be enough for me to convert to hot-wire catenary. Fifty-five years ago I tried making catenary to run HO brass GN Z-1. Unfortunately, solder joints on 26 gauge phosphor-bronze couldn't handle the tension, and I didn't know how to weld wire that small. Edit: PECO catalog indicates it would cost over $130 to install about 12 feet.....OUCH.
