Every Penn Central fan knows of the "red P" and "orange C" schemes. At least once, I saw a reference to "green C". Did this paint scheme exist? Also, I seem to recall a photo of three engines - E or F units - where one wore a PC scheme with a large, all-white logo... on a green, instead of black, engine. Can I possibly be remembering something real?
hello,i don't ever recall seeing any E OR F units in green, but you never know, proberly life-like or bachman proberly made models like that back in the day, i've only seen the pink or light red C on the pc but even that was a pretty short lived & rare

I'd heard of the blue and white (actually, it looks like blue and yellow). I knew they got a couple ex-DRGW F-units, but didn't know if they ran them before painting them black. I certainly never heard of #15.
You guys know much about CR in Michigan? I heard that the line from Grand Rapids to Mackinaw City (former PC line) dident get absorbed in Conrail, but sold to Tucola and Saginaw Bay, and not even six months later sold to the state of Michigan and the state formed the Michigan Northern Railway. I was just wondering why CR dident take it. Id thought it was b/c the line dident bring much money but Michigan Northern made good profits. I dunno any info would be cool. That green pic that Thieu posted looks like the "jade" green used many,many years ago.I seen an Alco with the green(jade?)color on it years ago.That was the only loco i've ever seen with the green with white worms on it.
