Is there a roster somewhere that details which ex-BN sd40-2's were patched to BNSF before repaint or disposition? Looking to patch some of the upcoming Kato's but want to be as sure as possible before I commit the funds.
The next question for George is: were there any differences between #'s 6770/6772 and those that did see BNSF: 6773 and beyond - delivered 5 months after 6772? Paging Mr. Doofus, Mr. Doofus to Trainboard, please. Mr Doofus....
And FWIW, I see 6773 and beyond do not seem to have had the white-face scheme. BN cognoscenti (among which I'm conspicuous by my absence ) will know more about this aspect.
William, the very few nose brakewheel units that received Whiteface paint, according to my research: 6726, 34, 36, 72, 7812. More brakewheel units received the regular BN scheme...
