My Appalachian & Atlantic railroad uses a somewhat similar scheme to the Richmond Fredricksburg&Potomac paintjob except the blueish-white painted area as an atique white/creme color.
SPECIAL SCHEMES: Creme faced C44-9W the front nose and cab is all creme colored with other in regular paint. The A&A still has some GP7/9's still in CHESSIE PAINT, and on regular service and has no plans to retire them soon.

Sounds excellent!! The SFSW uses all Santa Fe equipment, so no special paint schemes are needed. You will see blue and yelloow's and of course the warbonnet. Shared trackage by DRGW means there will also be black and aspen gold too!! Happy Modeling!!

I'm gonna have some UP and maybe some SP unitsjust for run throughs. A couple years ago I was in Cumberland maryland and saw 7 RIO GRAND and SP tunnel motors come in the yard with a CSX SD40-2 on the point ther were 150 empty coal hoppers heading back to the mountains of west Virginia. Usually you'll only find a cuple SDs on a coal train and maybe a couple more in helper service. What happened to te road slugs!! [IMG]

The Indiana Northern uses a paint scheme similar to that of the old Nickel Plate Road. The body is black with yellow stripes on the end and yellow lettering on the side. We also have one engine that's leased to a local musuem that's been restored to it's orginal Milwaukee Road livery.

The Augsburg & Concord started out with a red and gray scheme similar to the BN green and black.

Recently, two locomotives were purchased in Brunswick Green of the old PRR. The color scheme of the ACRR now has been changed to this simple, dark green with yellow lettering and yellow trim.

The O&NE's Alcos are blue with yellow nose stripes and lettering. I also have three locomotives in Frisco black & yellow- one 44-tonner, one RS1 and one RS2M. The RS1 and RS2M see regular service, while the 44-tonner
is used on a limited basis.
For grins & gigles, I painted a GP7U (ex-Santa Fe) in O&NE blue & yellow using Joshua Moldover's drawing from RR Paintshop. If I can figure out how to post it here, I'll do so.
I do plan on painting another Alco in a light gray & maroon paint job, much like the Northeastern Oklahoma RR had.
