Via my D&H work, I have receievd a question of what were the numbers of these two (2) PA's when they were ATSF. Does anyone know? ------------------ Strourbridge Lion http://www.trainweb.org/dhvm/
The D&H bought the 4 PA-1s from Santa Fe in December1967. The Santa Fe numbers were 59L, 60L, 62L, and 66L. They were renumbered to D&H 16-19. In other PA news Doyle McCormack is going to restore the two returned from Mexico. One for his operation and one for the Smithsonian. Another three PA-1s exist in Brazil and there were some recent posts in eGroups explaining their situation. Also the two Rio Grande PB-1s converted to steam generator cars still exist.
Forgot I posted this question within this forum as well. Thought many of you might enjoy one of many pictures I have taken and more can be found off of my web site. As I get updates, I have been posting them in the D&H forum. I'm hoping to get RR Fans in Albany, OR to suppy updates and most important images as things change. It will be wonderful to see the D&H #16/#18 restored. ------------------ Stourbridge Lion stourbridge_lion@yahoo.com Delaware and Hudson Virtual Museum
