Today at Englewood Yard I saw a WP boxcar. Old, beat up, in need of paint. It still had WP reporting marks with a UP herald. Not unusual, I see it all the time. But what was unusual is that the UP shield had Overland Route on it, like the old ones. Never seen that before. Anyone ever seen this? I wish I could have written the car number down, but I didn't have time.
That was the UP slogan, years back. Would be interesting to see a photo! If you get by there again, please have a camera along.
