Decal companies other than Microscale who handle N gauge. I was looking for NYC decals and Walthers is out as most shops anyone know of another decal company?

    Randy,

Have you tried contacting Microscale directly? Their website says they'll sell decals over the phone. If they don't have the set in stock, at least you can pester them about rerunning it. :D

One company I've had good dealings with is Oddballs Decals out of Leavenworth, Kansas. Their HO scale decals are awesome (and a godsend if you model Frisco, as I do in that scale), and the N scale stuff ain't too bad either.

I can't remember the URL off the top of my head, but if you go into your favorite search engine and type "Oddballs Decals" in the search window, you should hit it.

oddballs decals are great and also i deal with microscale directly over the phone as walthers always has old stock and many times are yellowed or they come apart in the water and dissolve. microscale is redoing most of their decal line so if they don't have it in stock give them time and they will have new ones and many with revised artwork.

Get you a MODEL RAILROADER magazine. There are all kinds of Decal Mfgs listed in the magazine. If you are after a certain set that is not made in N-Scale check with the Decal Maker that makes the set you want, and ask if you can get a couple of N-Scale sets ran off. If the decal maker will not run the N-Scale size, ask if you can get permission to have another decal maker copy and reprint the decals in N-Scale. There are several different companies that do this. Make the piont that you want these reprints for home use, not to resell.

Des Plaines Hobbies in Des Plaines IL not only has their own line of N decals but also carry the full line of Microscale and some other brands too.

Thanks for all the help guys I was able to get hold of Microscale direct and they had stock which I ordered [IMG] . Currently I am looking into some of the other ones you mentioned . Some of them have a much bigger selection of car decals than Microscale does in NYC.
