I just stopped over there and seen that they closed up shop for a couple weeks. I didn't notice extra activity here last year at this time. I wonder if the HO and O scale guys visit here more when a Atlas is on vacation? I am out here working on my N Scale ATSF Side Door Caboose today, and hope to get it painted up in time for our anticipated SNFF.

So, be honest, how many of you have gone back to the Atlas website...."just in case"? I think most of you will find Trainboard to be not radically different from Atlas, just not quite as busy....of course that will probably change this week! I challenge each of you to generate some topics. Even if it has been rehashed on Atlas, we might get some good perspectives from new faces here, who knows?
Sadly, not much. It's been hot here, and not very conducive to working on the 2nd floor of any non-air-conditioned building.. Like my house.. As for progress, I need more Pecos,a nd with a wedding/vacation soon, pickings are slim for the hobby budget!

Maybe we have some questions you can fill us in on? Maybe we can answer some questions for you? If we don't know the answers, we could always fake it for the enjoyment of the "Party Time"! Have you seen the Zyphers, and the Super Chief programs on PBS the last couple of weeks? They are running one each week it seems. I got to ride a Zypher in 1938 and the Super Chief in 1949. Have any of you ridden them?
