I visit eBay, Yahoo, and Tex-N-Rails online auction sites quite often. Are there any other online auction sites out there? Are there any other model railroad "FOR SALE/SWAP " sites that anybody knows about?
There is one called buynsellit.com that i browsed through once at the recommendation of someone else. I wasn't impressed with the layput of the site and was a bit concerned that they claim to never charge the seller a fee, meaning that the buyer has to pay the auction fees. I use eBay almost exclusively for my railroad aquisitions these days, and find it to be quite enough.
I like to use the classifieds offered by Railserve.com. It is free to both the buyer and seller. Railserve itself is a great search site for anything that has to do with trains, model or real. Try http://www.railserve.com/classifieds/viewads.html
