"One More for the Road"

    OK, this will likely be the last of the Porter-sized rolling stock for a while. This little boxcar was built in 1872 and in 1881 it came into the posession of the C&SW. It looks a little worse for wear, as do all of the C & SW cars but she still hauls plenty to the isolated mining camps. The kit is another offering by my friend Albert at Rio Grande Hobby Company, selling for about 15 bucks on E Bay. Enjoy!!

    Boxcab, scale 15' end to end and 7' wide. Greg, I was going to do just that but ran out of time. Do have a look at "weekend photo fun" and my RI for more on it though :D

    I thank you sir! The GP40-2 holds many good memories...my son actually ran that unit when he was 5. Miss living up there...
