This is my first post, and would like to say hello to all.
I am modeling the Milwaukee operation on the Olympic Peninsula, and would like to know if anyone has pictures of this. Especially interested in the 1950's and 1960's, during the steam days, which is when I grew up.
Thanks for any help or suggestions!

There are a few photos in various books. Most seem to date from later years, toward the end.

I sure remember seeing the barges on Puget Sound. We spent a lot of time on the Peninsula during those decades, due to family and vacations. But we rarely saw any trains. Only a time or two outside of either PA or PT, such as the old Highway 101 crossing east of Sequim. From what I know, they seem to have run a fair amount at night. This apparently to do with the tides and loading barges. As far as I can remember, steam went away early 1950s. SW diesels and the SD7/9 units on those lighter rails seemed to work out well.

I have some photos I bought from a collection off Ebay that shows Bayside yard in Port Angeles as well as some pictures at Tukeys.
