I'm looking for Atlas stock #'s for three black BN 90 ton hoppers I have. I bought them used without the original cases. All have rapidos, metal wheels and say "Atlas U.S.A." on the bottom. Road # 521419 Road # 521427 Road # 521465 Any help is greatly appreciated.
Hi John; What you have is a 90 ton 3 car BN set produced by Atlas .. these cars should be all black in color. The Atlas set number is 5530 ... but this is the SECOND run under this Atlas number. Atlas originally produced an earlier 90 ton 3 car BN set with white ends (car numbers were: 529283; 529183; 529090) using the same set number 5530. I have both sets! Hope this helps.

I would really apppreciate it if everybody out tere would encourage Atlas to do more with the Rotary end variation. I'd like to put together a decent string. I offered to sponsor a Special run but was told that Atlas will not do a special run of a "stock item". How can it be stock when it hasn't been run in over 7 years?
