I am mostly down with a bug today, having just spent most of the day asleep or running to the bathroom, but this was a nice thing to be greeted with now that I am feeling better. Thanks for posting this!

I just tagged it "logging" below so that it will show up any time someone punches the tag logging.

IF you want to look a little east, in Mountain Standard Time...look to Arizona, where we have 3 (three) standard gauge logging steam locos still on display! a 2-8-0 and a 2-6-6-2 are in Flagstaff, and a 3 truck shay is in Williams!

    Adam-

I'm fighting as bug today as well. Headache and blah...

I always forget to use the tagging. Grrr. One of those frills I just cannot wrap myself around as yet.

Wow, Ken, that is a very impressive collection of Train Orders. I am surprised to see that the Sierra was still using Train orders in 1982 for the filming of that movie. Nice to see some from the fallen flags that I have had the privilege to visit, like the McCloud.

    Ken-

Great stuff! On the Chehalis Western section, where they use the NP order. I would be willing to bet that order was written at Milburn since that had a NP operator.

    Ryan-

It was actually copied at Western Junction. Doug Hubert was indeed a MILW operator. Haven't run across him since during the early 1980's. Had an email or two from him, late 1990's. I've lost track of where he is these days. Used to spot his name now and then on the 'Net.
