Hi Gang, Question, I have a couple of Old Varney Diesel F7 Locos that have the old style motors and running gear. I would like to repower them and am wondering what suggestions you might have, and what would be the best approach?? Thank you, Ron.
Does it have a similiar drive mechanism as Athearns? I ask because my Father has a Varney F7 and a Globe F7. If I recall they're the same drive. Digitrax has released a solderless decoder that works with Athearn units.....it may work????
