Some time ago I started to improve my older cars, in order to bring them up to today's standard. Now I have converted most of my Atlas PS-1 with Gold Medal Models etched metal roofwalks, stirrups and brake wheels. I also used BLMA's stirrups, which come in several shapes and fit almost every situation. Now I wanted to convert older Rivarossi/Atlas wood box cars and think that they need wood roofwalks. Fox Valley offers wood roofwalks made of real wood, but so far I only have a set for 50' cars, the 40' ones are on backorder at my e-tailer. I don't know of any other manufacturer who does such roofwalks. Are there others (except MTL replacement parts)??
