Has anyone heard of RR equipment storage yard, (quite large),that is located in Washington State,at the end of Mineral Lake near the town of Mineral?? Would appreciate any info on this question.
Don, if my memory isn't totally gone, I believe Mineral is the "end of the line" for the Mount Rainier Scenic RR, which operates a whole bunch of steam logging locomotives and old freight cars. They have a yard at mineral which contains locomotives in need of restoration, a shop, and a lot of equipment. I know they have a website. They operate steam excursions quite often.
Hello fitz, thanks for the reply, will try to go there before end of October. Maybe I can get some photographs of this yard and all the equipment, maybe would be some really interesting stuff. will try and keep all posted as what happens. Thanks again.
