I have a number of old railroad books and manuals in my posession, given to me by one of the local railroad yards back in the early 90's. Much them are from CSX but some of them are also from the Chessie and C&O days and include timetables, operating procedures, safety rules, printouts, switch lists, locomotive operation/maintenance manuals, etc...

They date from the 70's, 80's, 90's and are in relatively good condition but have been sitting around in boxes for years so I am considering the possibility of either selling or donating them after I have had time to determine if they have any significant value.

I will be making a detailed list soon but wanted to get opinions on the possible value (monetary or historical) of items like this and/or what I should do with them. Thoughts?

    Thanks
