    The old Santa Fe Railroad passenger depot in Norman, Oklahoma circa 1910's. The station, built in 1909, today is used by Amtrak and a Performing Arts Studio. (Norman Chamber of Commerce)

    One thing I have always wondered - how long could a fireless steam engine operate once it was fully charged and what pressure would that maximum charge be installed at?

    Link and pin couplers were outlawed by 1903 but that was probably for interchange.

    ...the Army is "special".

    BTW, for those who don't know, the rooftop air tank "torpedo tubes" explain why that GP-7 never got a chopped nose. It has a steam generator in there.
