So I was thinking about Athearn, and the lack of an N scale FEF in their product line. Currently I am told they have no plans for and FEF. This does not sound like its written in stone. Maybe the squeaky wheel will get the grease. I have let Athearn know my feelings on making an FEF in N scale. Pehaps you guys will sign on to my posting and also contact Athearn thru there product ideas link. As for me I want 8 FEF's to begin with. Maybe they just have not heard out voice? We are hoping ATHEARN hears the long call of N Scalers for EMD GP-60M & GP-60B before Turbines, or FEF's. I understand everyone has something they'd like to see made, but come on, Geep-60M & B is gotta be hands down the winner.

Even though I'm not a staunch UP modeler... I only have a few engines (Y3 Mallets, Big Boys & Challengers)... I'd probably go for one of the FEF units if available. I'd go for the Turbines as well.
Athearn, put me down for 2 FEF's. Then next year put me down for 2 Turbines. It really is that easy to get my money, Athearn. That easy....
