Bad news today...the website I completely rely on for accurate historical info on the C & S engines and rolling stock appears to no longer exist. This is a catastrophe. I never thought it would simply disappear!! The site had info on it about the EARLY C & S...stuff most books did not have. Man am I bummed out!!

    Hopefully this is temporary (praying).

Man I hope so...if it ever does come back I had better print the entire thing off!! Maybe it is just being updated, although I doubt it since it has been up since 2002 with no changes...

Someone told me there is an online website archive somewhere...you know for all abandoned websites. Maybe I'll try there if its not up by mid-week...

Good News: I was contacted by the webmaster after a LONG search and he tells me the website shall rise again. He currently trying to tie it to a museum that will maintain it.

Out of curiosity, what site are you referring to? Not "Railway Preservation News" www.rypn.org by any chance? I know they're going through some problems.

    Regards

Go to the link Charlie gave above and paste this in:

    www.ironhorse129.com/RollingStock/CandS/links_c&s.htm

If you look up "Colorado and Southern Railraod Roster" on Google it was under "Colorado and Southern Links" which had a bunch of different sites including one on the DSPPRR. Anyway, I will let you know when its back up BUT it sounds like it may be in that nebulous "sometime in the future" time frame :(
